Apples

September 9th, 2012- 13 months old

Our new favorite food!

It helps with the teething too since we almost have FIVE teeth

He makes this "HMMM" sound when he really likes it!
Enjoying his apple!

Ahh, the apple! It will solve all my problems!

10 Months

I think I say every month is my favorite stage but 10 months was GREAT! Dylan is such a happy baby, hardly cries, is changing and learning everyday!  He reached a big milestone and started CRAWLING this month.  Favorite games and toys were throwing the ball with Otto and all of Otto's dog toys.

He was great at mimicking everything you could do with your mouth.  Jessa, the nanny, taught him how to click with his tongue.  He babbles so much saying otto, dada, and mama.  He uses his hands to make noise with his mouth, maybe he will be a rapper??

It was a great month with lots of laughs, friends firsts birthday parties, and searching for a new home in Singapore.

My First Christmas

Christmas was a success!  We even managed to go to church... well two churches.  We started out at the Catholic church but soon realized it was children's mass and we weren't going to get a seat inside when it started to rain so we ended up walking across the street to the Baptist church in time for candle light Christmas songs.  Now that is Christmas and my favorite part of church... Silent Night in candle light.

Dylan got up at his usual 6AM so we started the skyping sessions with coffee... held out on breakfast so we could stuff ourselves with Christmas Day brunch goodness :)

Dylan seemed way into opening presents.  He watched Dirk open his Fischer Price Color and Shapes book with intense focus.  I think next year he will have it all down pat.  I have been buying him so many things... we only wrapped three of them.  One being the Leap Frog Play & Learn piano which was a total hit.

After opening presents we got dressed and headed to the Capella on Sentosa to brunch with our friends Chris Holmes and Justina.  Dylan did great through the whole brunch and even the after party.  Thankfully he will still nap in his stroller without too many issues.
