Christmas 2012

We stayed in Singapore this Christmas, no traveling, just some quiet family time.  Dylan loved all the gifts but it was a little overwhelming opening all the presents.  He promptly took a nap after breakfast.

When Dylan got all his beauty rest we then ventured out for a Christmas Day brunch on Sentosa and after a quick trip to the Garrett's house for another traditional Christmas meal.   I think this holiday was all about eating...

Merry Christmas from the Dunlaps!
Happy Boy!

Cut his hair just after this picture with the elf

Christmas morning- scooter from Grandma & Grandpa Dunlap
Loving some KungFu Panda too!
So overwhelming!
Was ok opening a couple of gifts but got tired quickly

Fell in his new lego box!
Loves to build things now, taking after his dada?

Our typical Christmas Eve meal: Texas Chili, Apple Pie, Corn bread, and vodka sodas!
Some Southern food in the tropics

The loot!
Santa had it easy this year, no putting together toys

All I want for Christmas...

We found Santa Claus... he was hanging out at Great World's City mall!  He even had an Australian accent... thankfully Dylan is still young and doesn't know that Santa is American... hehe!

Only kid I know who smiles for a camera while sitting on Santa's lap... such a silly little boy!

Christmas in Singapore

Every Christmas outside one of the malls in Singapore they make it snow soap suds for the kids.  We decided to check it out with our little family of three.

The older kids were all in their bathing suits splashing around in the soapy snow.  Dylan just watched.

We are really excited to stay in Singapore this year for Christmas, no traveling, no holiday, no Texas size road trips, just the Dunlap's hanging out for our first family of three Christmas.  We will miss our families dearly but time to start making our own traditions too!

New tradition in Singapore is a Christmas Day brunch and maybe a trip to the beach :)

Check out that mustache!
